If your DELCO radio is showing "LOC", there is no reason to pay an
outrageous service charge at your dealer to get an unlock code.
Locking a radio usually occurs when your battery dies or you take your car in for service and they
disconnect the battery during a procedure. This action sets the radio into its Theftlock mode to
render the radio useless to a potential thief.  Most often you forget your security code or you have
purchased the car used and never entered one of your own. If you end up in the "LOC" mode and do not
know your code, you are stuck . . . until now.

Before you start, please note that the radio must be in "LOC" mode
NOT in "INOP" mode

Example:  If you have activated the Theft-Deterrent feature of your radio and loose power, the radio
goes into "LOC" (Theftlock) mode. With the ignition ON, you must use the MN and HR buttons to enter
you personal code in order to unlock it. If you fail to enter the correct code eight (8) times, the
radio goes into "INOP" mode. You must then wait an hour with the ignition on before the radio returns
to "LOC" mode procedure. Then you will have three (3) more attempts to unlock the radio before it
goes into "INOP" mode again.
If your radio is in "LOC" mode,

please follow the steps below to retrieve your code:

1.  Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays "
LOC").

2.  Press and hold presets buttons 2 & 3 or 1 & 4 for approximately 10 seconds.

The radio display changes from "
LOC" to a three-digit number. Write this number down. If you have a
Saturn or GEO, see note below and skip to step 5.

Don’t take long, fifteen seconds max before the next step

3.  Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to another three-digit number. Write this number
to the right of the first one.

4.  You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 2 and the last three digits are
from STEP 3, so you will have a number like this ( 212 - 212 )

5.  Submit your payment of $4.99 to sales@infamouscustoms.com by using PayPal, and in the comment line
type the six (or four) digit code from Step #4, the make of the car (as the steps to input the unlock code
differ by manufacturer) and a valid email address for us to email the code back to you. We will then
email you your unlock code and steps to get your radio unlock.

Got your code from the steps above?  Then pay now by using PayPal

NOTE: Saturn and GEO Vehicles only require a four (4) digit serial #. The forth digit will be displayed
half the size of the first three digits.  Example: 4523
NO RDS Radios

Sorry, we can not retrieve your code

RDS stands for Radio Data System. This technology allows stations
to transmit additional types of information via encoded digital
signals that can be received and displayed by the user's Radio. For
instance: an
RDS-capable Radio can display the title and artist or
current song playing, local traffic information, an advertiser's
phone number while a commercial is playing, etc.
